Seems like a simple poster, but so much detail were put into it to create a realistic looking sunflower. From coloring to creating the small details. Although is may not be as good as others but I am impressed by what i have created, using all i have learn this semester to create the final piece.

Mona Lisa
Leonardo- Mona Lisa The Myth 500 Years
Leonardo Da Vinci is hulled one of the greatest minds and artist in all of history, from painting to inventions. This exhibition displayed some of his finest works along with his less known works and inventiions. Not only was his works in display but also some art work redone by other artist of his century and modern artist, using their very own unique style to portray Mona Lisa in a whole new perspective.
Going to the exhibition it allowed me to explore the beauty of Da Vincis mind and his artwork, as there is a huge difference between seeing one on the TV and one in person (although it is just a copy). I remember standing almost half an hour admiring his art work Leda and the Swan, as well as the Last Supper. There was more to admire such as the work of the human body, the geometry of it etc. Not only was Da Vinci an artist he was a scientist in some way, as it is said his human body drawing were accurate.
But the main part of the exhibition was the Mona Lisa's. First off we all know the original Mona Lisa, but here they portrayed all different styles from artist all around the world. Such art work include Mona Lisa portrayed erotically on a cover of an erotic magazine, her head replaced by a velociraptor , a montage of different colored Mon Lisa placed to make a collage and so on. Unfortunately no photos were allowed to be taken at the exhibition.
The Exhibition is a place to explore art and inventions, as well as for someone seeking inspiration, it is highly recommended to take a walk and explore Mona Lisa - The Myth 500 years in Taipei.

3D
Finally we touch on the confusing 3D effect tool.
It may seem confusing at first, but after getting the hang of it, it becomes fun as you can twist and turn the object at will to your liking. The one below was made to look like blocks, as some are leaning, others have fallen to the ground. Kind of feels like a DIY show.
Looking for a coffee shop? come to the newest Manhattan Cafe, we serve the best coffee.
Everything below was made from nothing, the cup, the coffee inside were all done using the 3D tool, all you had to do was make the right 2D line shape then using the 3D rotate effect to create. Amazing!Culture & Creativity Expo 文化創意博覽會
Despite this being the last day of the Expo, there was still a large number of people visiting the place. Most of the people (unlike myself) were not forced to come here, but rather here to admire the art and culture of Taiwan.
One of the more memorable exhibition is the Hidden Art. It showcases low-profile artists works that are unknown to the communities in Taiwan. Their works are created in relation to the local community, as they blend art and their surrounding, showing the beauty that people may not notice around their own community.
The Expo had a range of artworks from furniture to soap, as artist use innovation and creativity to create a new work to wow the viewers. An experience to open our eyes to the world we live in, to see local artist produce world class art, knowing that we live in a country that doesn't lose to our countries when it comes to culture, art and craft.

Festive atmosphere
Fish tank -
Bubbles made on posters are actually just a play on color and brightness, with a help of some transparency in play. They seem real, add in the water color (blue), we have a beautiful ocean (water) for the fish to swim in.
Festival-
Creating a scale pattern and applying it to the dragon and fish we have a Japanese style theme to use. The result is stunning, feeling festive already.

Fireworks to Water Painitng
Creating fireworks from simple lines.
Using this method you can create wheels to snowflakes.
Using this method you can create wheels to snowflakes.
We can even use Illustrator to create work that is similar to owns we do by hand on paper, such as the one above where we created the effect of water painting. Through this we have entered a new generation where we can create art just on the computer rather than learning to paint in real.

Poster Creater
Using a tool to transform lines into words and filling in a shape with words aligned perfectly to the shape, we created a poster to promote coffee, which was using words to form our cups and the rich coffee steam that came out the cup. Created two, one for day another for night, telling everyone that coffee is for anytime of the day, enjoy it.
An greeting/invitation card to an art gallery.
It seems professional with an artistic touch, it was created by expanding a photo (creating paths), then creating a contrast between each object(hence the white) then just filling in gradient color.

A new tool we learnt was to create the wheel. It's simply rotating a line until you create a circle.
The poster may seem complicated but its fairly simple, all you need is patience. I admit it could of been better if i took more of my time.

Fancy Words
This week we learnt about the Text tool, simple right? But how about designing these texts, to create an effect. The first one (below) was fairly simple, we basically found a pattern we like and filled the text with it after we expanded the text (creating paths).
Next we had to create a reflection of a word. A bit harder as we had to create our own paths, fill in each area with colors to create a 3D feel, after that reflecting the word and making the one below almost transparent. Pretty cool right.
This one was an eye opener, who would of knew that these logos and symbols were that easily created, all you need was the word and the shape, and after one click of a button, WALA there we have it.
Creating Logos
Using the pen tool (creating paths/outlines) we took a picture and selected the part in which we would want to create our logo from (a logo about tea, and one about dogs).
I extracted the four leaves which seemed like a star to me, which i proceeded to create a star boarder around it, thus the name Star Leaf was created. A tea drink from a galaxy far away~

The dog logo I extracted the dogs head and placed in behind a bubble (which i extracted from another picture) and decided to make this a dog salon logo. Come to Bubble dog, we will make your dog squeaky clean!

First Time
Learning the basics of using Adobe Illustrator.
The first lesson was to learn how to use the pen tool to make a path (an outline) over each object (from fruits to cutlery) the filling in each with a different color. My attempt was fairly successful, although some of the object was not perfectly covered, revealing some parts.
